Lift with Fing, Marseille, 18-20 June 2009 : Hands on Future!

On June 18,19 and 20, they will be at Lift France http://www.liftconference.com/ to talk about the Hands-On Future, a future where we are all actors of change. "Hands-on" is about creating objects that are not just "smart" and connected, but also customizable, hackable, transformable, fully recyclable. It is about decentralized manufacturing and home fabrication. Building a hands-on future also means to reconnect global environmental challenges with growth as well as with human desire, pleasure, beauty and fun. Innovation is everywhere, emerging from users as well as entrepreneurs, researchers or activists.

Lift

Lift is a series of events built around a community of doers and thinkers who get together in Europe and Asia to explore the social consequences of new technologies. Each conference is a chance to turn changes into opportunities by anticipating the major shifts ahead, and meeting the people who drive them.
